Big, Strong, Fast football players. They played with confidence and swagger and an edge. The had every intention of dominating whoever they played. True Canes!

This is what jumped out at me watching those highlights, we looked like an NFL team up front. Today it seems like so many of our guys still look like HS kids, I know we are still very young and I am hopeful that we can get back to that physical dominance.

The more you understand that this will NEVER happen again, the more you'll appreciate it. Things like this will never happen again. It was truly a perfect storm. Maybe we can get back to being as consistent as we were in the 80's (Not talking about championships, just talking about being a perennial Top 10 team). Even that will be a **** of a task. That team may have legitimately had the 3 best size/speed athletes in the college game (ST26/AJ/Willis). Frightening how good that team was.

McDougle is the best Miami -DE ive seen. I recall going to a spring game (at the OB) and they asked McDougle to sit on several plays because he was destroying the OL's ha.
