New Breakdown.. Denzel Perryman vs. Boston College..

Great breakdown. I wonder how the MIKE position will work. hopefully he can shed BLOCKS and make as many plays. This defense looked really designed for the will to have a strong year.

Would love to see Kirby at will at some point in the season.

I think Kirby is better suited to play Mike while Perryman is more suited to play Will, but that won't happen (at least not this season IMO) because Mike is a leadership position and the staff doesn't want to give that responsibility to a freshman.

he finds that ball for sure....the D line was horrible in that game well very game last year at times.

One thing I couldn't help but notice...even next to Spence he looks short. How tall is Perryman really? 5'10?


either way can't help but like how he plays to the whistle and explodes on contact.
 
Awesome stuff. Can u do one of him vs. GT? That was a dominant performance by him.
 
best plays of the breakdown I thought were the missed sack that he hustled to finish and the draw he recognized on a blitz to trip up the RB before the 1st

What I like the most is how when he tackles the ball carrier they rarely get an extra yard.

Thats what I am hoping for this year. Thats the key to success. Create pressure, make the QB rush his thoughts, get off the field! Especially on 3rd down, that was a killer last year.
 
My favorite player to watch since the last 5'10" #52 LB, Webster. I think Denzel can be even better.
