negative thought: Championship game apperances

I wanted to continue with the positive and negative thoughts while we are on an actual football break. Today's, the ACC championship game. It is embarrassing we have yet to even make an appearance in the game. Since the game was created I have listed the only teams in America to not make an appearance in a conference title game (Only if their title game is 10 years old so no pac 12 or big 10)

Vanderbilt
Ole Miss
Miss State
Kentucky
Iowa St.
Kansas
Texas Tech
Maryland
NC St.
Miami
UNC
UVA

You can leave off Baylor and OK St. because they would be in the game this year.

Out of 36 teams 2/3 have made an appearance in a conf title game.

Guess how many national championships there are in the above listed group since 1970? 5. Guess who has all 5?

This tread is not to blame anyone in particular, it is just to show really how low we have fallen. I don't care what happens next year. As in this year my #1 goal and the teams should be getting to the ACC title game.

Side note. Don't say we would have qualified last year if not for self imposing because if UNC had not been on probation last year they would have gone instead of us.

The ACC is so pathetic they moved the title game to Thursday night?
 
We have a harder road than anyone else in the ACC. We have to play FSU every year. If we lose to them, we lose all the tiebreakers. That's what's ****ed us up more than once.

By all rights FSU and Miami should both be in the coastal or both be in the atlantic.

Today maybe, but let's not act like FSU has been a top 5 or even Top 25 team the entire time we've been in the ACC. They've been 9-3, 8-5, 7-6, 7-6, 9-4, 7-6, 10-4, 9-4, and 12-2 since we joined the ACC.

This is a good point and something I thought about pointing out but it was not worth it because this year all we had to do was beat Duke or VT. Winning either of those games would have put us in the title game. But it is a little ridiculous that neither Duke or VT played FSU or Clemson.

So basically your list is the ACC, Big 12 and SEC cahmpionship games? Ok, fair enough. Why don't you count Pitt and Cuse? Oh they've only been in the ACC one year, fine then put Baylor and Ok St back on the list, cause they don't have a championship game anymore, and when they did, neither one sniffed it. Also, take Miss St off the list, they played U*** in 98.

BTW, this is the dumbest thread, what does this prove? I think we all know we've sucked for the better part of a decade. People are really taking the fact that Duke is in the ACCCG hard, huh? Guess what, Duke is a good team. They came to play, we did not.
 
Wait..... Sooooooooooo we never won the Big East? is this conference title, at all?? Or a title since we moved to the ACC? Either way the OP is a F#$#ing moron lol

I'm not going to address all your bunched up panties comments but I will address this one. If you could read, which it's obvious you can't. The thread was based on all title game since the acc title game was created. Show me the acc title game results in 1998.

BC plays FSU, Clemson and VT every year. They've been to 2 ACC title games.

BC plays FSU, Clemson and VT every year. They've been to 2 ACC title games.

My reading comprehension is just fine. The convoluted way you wrote it makes it sound like you only included title games that were at least ten years old. Alright then go ahead and put Miss St back on the list, and while you are at it, add Texas A&M.

Also, my panties are very smooth, thank you. I'm just trying to figure out what the point of this thread is. I guess it is that we suck. Well, duh.

If you are trying to point out how many other teams have or have not been to a title game, at least get the list right.
