So multiple sites almost unanimously pegged us for worst early signing day (The only other school nipping at our heels was FSwho)

Didn’t realize that we had more decommits than those who actually signed. I did, however, realize that who we replaced those recruits w/ were not of the same caliber.

If we don’t finish strong, per Canes Warnings source, Rivals, this class will be Miami’s worst recruiting class since Rivals started keeping track of class rankings since 2002.

With Hasselwood trending very favorably to OU, and Stevenson now heavily trending to UGA, besides Bogle, who do u guys legitimately think we have a shot at?

Regardless of how much I dislike Richt, I love my team and don’t want to see us go out like this. It’s a domino effect that we’ve seen too often.

A lot of teams have signed nest their limit. We will go higher than the number we’re currently at.

Still a very disappointing year in recruiting.

I hear ya man.

Honestly I don’t think Richt is any danger at all of being fired and he’s too stubborn to retire

You don’t want to **** up a recruiting class because it sacrifices the future (hopefully beyond Richt) however a historically bad recruiting class is something that’s hard to ignore since it will be plastered all over ESPN and the internet

Combine a bad season and a disastrous recruiting effort and questions may start to rise from more people.

win and recruiting nearly takes care of itself. Lose and do so stupidly and you lose recruiting battles. It's honestly that simple. The second biggest thing is playing time. Is there open slots in the roster... But that isn't near important as winning

But real talk, who do u think, personally we have a real shot at?

Like despite all the bickering and back and forth about who the coach is, I think we all have the same concern about this class.

currently we are 33rd, If Stevenson has signed with us which is the belief as of now than we will be bumped into the high 20's. Then all we need to do is hit on a couple of our many targets left and we are in the teens to low 20's which would be amazing considering our 7-5 season.

What I don’t want is the Law of Golden. When our class came crashing down in 2014, it trickled to the 15 class and then the 16 class, but we were able to salvage a couple.

Recruiting is the life line of a program. Unlike other teams like TCU or UCF who tend to always have low ranked classes, as an example, we don’t run an offense to maximize that hidden 3 star talent’s abilities.

With Richt’s system, we gotta hit on Blue Chip to P5 caliber OLman and Blue Chip to P5 caliber running backs.

Honestly, and I’m being real, I’ve never been this pessimistic about a recruiting class, and I’m not sure who we really have a shot at that’s of Miami caliber. I don’t want to start taking just bodies, b/c those will be wasted schollies.

Yeah you never want a bad recruiting class.

Unfortunately I think it’s far beyond help.

Rell ain't **** we can do.. In my opinion we strike out w Stevenson, Mar, and Bogle... we might get a guy like Emerson...but yes we will finish in the 30s or high 20s... 2020 will be just as bad unfortunately because Richt will have major heat on him all spring and summer.

Rell, I think we’ve all known for a while now that this class was not going to be at 2018 levels. Pretty much a gap filler class and nothing special - which I was cool with as long as we addressed our needs.

I don’t have a problem with the 15 guys we have so far other than the fact that we’ve had to settle for a lot of project guys who could be special down the road - just won’t help us immediately. Save for maybe Peyton, all of these guys are Year 2-3 contibutors. We still have talent gaps that need to be addressed now - not 3 years from now.

And at this point, I just don’t see this being a large class of 25+. Just not enough talent out there at this point worth tossing schollies around like candy just to fill out a class.

I think our best bet is to sign 5 or so more guys and call it a wrap. This class is what it is. Let’s pray that we somehow have a strong 2019 season and salvage the 2020 class.

Sigggggh; bro, that’s the domino effect I mentioned. These kids look at future teammates and how teams do in recruiting the previous yr. unfortunately I feel u r right, bro.

Baller instincts are more important than stars. Give a good coach a team of 4 stars with Trajan Bandy's heart and instincts and that coach will cruise to an acc championship, which will be a play-in for the playoffs.

Unfortunately, u are right. We have zero momentum here, man. We went from the top ranked class for 19 and plummeted rather quickly. Im just hoping the evals are really good and some of these guys are truly underrated by the recruiting services.

Its going to be just bodies rel u know it is. This staff is cooked and it will hurt us years down the road. The new staff takes over no matter whoit is will get decapitated by bama.

Its all pointless. Train Richt has destroyed the program and its brand and very dna. Kids know that. They smell it. The react to it. They go elsewhere.
