Need Quality Preperation for Bowl

Whether we are good/bad/ok/decent/up&coming, I can't help but to think the matchup vs Louisville is a bad one. I want us to win and win big, but to me a team with a deadly accurate QB, QB that can use his feet, some weapons, and the nations top 4 in time of possession. That is less than ideal for our defense. Actually, it is probably the worst matchup we could have hoped for. Our O will need to have its best performance all year, and be efficient. Special teams will be huge and probably most important aspect of the game. Again I hope we win but to me I'll be shocked if our D shows anything. Dorito, if you bend but don't break defense was needed it'll be this time. Don't break don't break just bend!

Shootout? Our upside is maybe 30 points (IF the stars are alligned) , UL's is 60+

Unless Morris somehow inproved night and day from the last four years, we ain't outshooting anyone.

I hope we win, but UL would beat Duke or VT by 3 tds, and we couldn't even stay on the field with those two awful teams.

And I don't care how much Muschump and UF wanted to lose last year, they ran a train on UF's defense, and outcoached them to the point of embarrassment.
 
I disagree. The much worse matchup for us is an offense that can run a read option and can throw as well. That is why our worst games this season were against Duke and Virginia Tech. Bridgewater does have some mobility, but he is essentially a pocket passer.

Tderrible passing QBs light us up. Teddy is elite compared to the clowns that had Heisman days against us.
 
Louisville wins by double digits. We are known to make bad QB's look good. Teddy actually is a good QB so expect him to have a field day. Post game it'll be "we had too many busted coverages" "we just didn't tackle well" "didn't execute the way we needed to" "there isn't anything I don't sign off on" "it's my job to fix it" "we have to get better". then he will go into living rooms and sell the dream

i wanted Tx A&M...this is a bad matchup in every which way form.

Its a matchup that "thEY" want......They recruit FLA hard and they get a bowl game in florida with a chance to VALIDATE their program as they roughed up UF last yr and look to do so against us this yr.

TX A&M dont recruit here and a lost to them doesnt affect us imo.

They have a legit qb...that is quite comfortable with hitting u for 5-10 yd passes all game,,,he wont get greedy ..will just take what coach d gives...which will be alot.

They have a rb that is hitting his stride and is physical....charlie strong is a legit dc he can limit our offense.

their going to be amped up for this game...from the tip...just like they did with uf last yr......im not sure we will match their intensity....not sure if Golden and crew understand this is a "big" game sort of.
 
Lol funny how people are mad that we speak of a poor matchup. Not talking about firing anyone, not talking about dont want to watch it, don't say I'm not going giving my tickets I already purchased back. Simply this is a poor matchup. Hope we overcome it through preperation.
 
This "bad matchup" is just a pre excuse for 2014. I'm sure they can find a QB that will torch us next season (everyone else seems to have multiple QBs that can lay 500+ yards on us)

Based on how season unfolded I have to look at glass half empty. Please please prove me wrong and play a little defense.

This guy gets it.

Our worst games this year were against mobile QBs that run the read option. Donofrio is scared of the mobile QBs and that is what led to an even bigger gagglef*ck on defense than we already had. Bridgewater is more of a pocket guy, so I expect Donofrio to play a more traditional base.

We may still get lit up, but I think we are going to be more competitive.
 
LOL! So that slow, white, inept QB for Duke was "Mobile"? We make EVERY QB a top passer AND a top runner!

Their schedule is the wildcard as they got beat at home by the one legit team they played all year. It is hard to determine how good they really are and some of their stats are certainly inflated. However, our defense looks equally as awful regardless is we play the #1 or #121 offense so it is hard to have hope for some of us that we pull this off

What does his race have to do with it?

Harris and Morris are two of the least mobile QBs I've ever seen. Neither is white.
