Nebraska tickets request???

Don't think they've granted request for away games yet, I requested my pair for Louisville way back in April/May if memory serves me correctly though. Am an orange level donor so personally was unable to get NEB tix (have lived in nebraska my whole life so 0 chance I miss that one), whenever tickets are allotted I will be frantically searching for tix in the Miami section regardless of the likely heavily inflated price tag. Anyone with some insight here a PM would be appreciated in the coming weeks
 
My experience with the ticket office is that it's been an amateur operation. Season's tickets are mailed way too close to the beginning of the schedule limiting the opportunities to schedule the best airline fares and hotel room availability. Like the Dolphins they are clueless about customer-friendly marketing. Seems like their "marketing" department mission statement should read something like this:

"We will expend the minimum effort required and treat the fans/customers as an inconvenience and always act as if all our games are sold out. We have what the fans want and it's up to them to come and get it. We don't really care if you're a third-generation Hurricane Club member or how many are in your group, don't expect any perks or even a small decal, we just want your money."

Your best bet is to get a Hurricane Club member, one with a large number of tickets allocated, to purchase tixs for you on the first day of sales and overnight mail it to you.

I did this for several decades until I moved away. Now I impose on the remaining members of my group for the occasional extra ticket.

So who can tell me if anything has changed?

Minimum of $500 donation, and the school is getting a ridiculously low number. Best bet would be stubhub.

Thursday, October 23 @ Virginia Tech—Tickets: $60.00 each

Saturday, November 22 @ Virginia—Tickets: $50.00 each


ADDITIONAL AWAY GAME TICKET INFORMATION:



Tickets and location will be assigned on a priority point basis within donor levels.

Tickets will be mailed no later than 10 days before the game.

When requesting your tickets, your credit card will be charged. If we are unable to fulfill your request, you will automatically be refunded.

Hurricane Club members may request tickets for all away games (excluding Nebraska, which has a minimum giving level of $500), though there is no guarantee your request will be fulfilled.

Due to limited availability of tickets for our game at Nebraska in Lincoln, NE, there is a $500 minimum donation to request tickets for this game, as well as ticket request limits:

Champions ($55,000) Up to 10
Platinum ($30,000) Up to 10
Golden Cane ($15,000) Up to 8
Silver Cane ($5,000) Up to 6
Green Plus ($3,000) Up to 6
Green ($1,500) Up to 4
Orange Plus ($750) Up to 4
Orange (minimum $500) Up to 2
