ND kicking game

Anyone know about the ND kicker on kickoffs. That NC State guy basically took Duke out of the return game.

From what I have seen the ND kicker kicks it out of the endzone most of the time (like 90%) also, any decent kicker will atleast kick it deep nowadays because they moved the ball up unless told otherwise. (some coaches feel they have the athletes to cover kicks and will tell the kicker to kick it high and short and have their guys run down and cover).


They are very good at the kicking game atleast to begin the year. Their punter did struggle some in the Mich. game but he has been pretty good in the other games

From things that I have read this is how Golden feels. The kicking team should be able to tackle a return man before he gets to the 25 yard line.

In our case against NC State I don't think they wanted to take the chance so we will probably see that again this weekend.
