Apparently Emmert just announced they are going to immediately stop selling player related team gear. Jay Bilas has been all over them for this recently.

RT @GaryParrishCBS: NCAA pres Mark Emmert said the NCAA is getting out of the business of selling jerseys. Looks like @JayBilas forced real change.

So Emmert's self-imposing, eh? I'll take his "unprecedented cooperation" into consideration while I'm ramming a ping pong paddle up his a$$ sideways for the next two-and-a-half years...

Wow. The NC** has been going through a helluva nightmare these past 8 months...

I dont know if I believe this. Stop selling jerseys??? Lol! I need a more solid source. That sounds like "he say-she say".

LMFAO!

Day late and a dollar short. That f@ck can't unring the bell. O'Bannon will result in a sea change in college athletics and the end of the amateur model as we know it.

They will give all the jerseys in their warehouse to people in Central and South America. Just like the NFL does with the losing teams conference and super bowl champion attire. Look for a Johnny Football jersey and t-shirt the next time your in Honduras.

Yeah, Bilas got them dead to rights. Do any of the resident CIS legal experts want to weigh in on how/if this will change the O'Bannon case?
