Name to watch (Harun Zrno)

Comp jokes aside that makes sense. Shooting form even looks similar.

Bogdan Bogdanovic is his favorite player -- said he grew up watching him and trying to copy his shot because he didn’t have coaches telling him the correct way to shoot. Zrno said he essentially learned how to shoot a basketball by watching tape of Bogdanovic.
Thank god nobody got Shawn Marion tape in his hands first.

Could be a potential One and Done. Lets get him
Hate to rain on the parade here, but he’s definitely not a one-and-done type.

The 247 IU guys are very good at scouting and went through his film. In his IU commitment article (so this is not sour grapes) they had him projected as a low usage spot up shooter. He lacks the ability to make plays or create his own shot off the dribble, is not good finishing around the rim or shooting on the move, lacks lateral quickness, is an average to below average athlete who lacks speed, and is projected to struggle defensively.

Basically a spot up shooter who moves well off the ball and will keep the ball moving but who has a lot of limitations that aren’t readily apparent from highlight films. He’s also a 33% career 3-point shooter, which is just fair.

He was a desperation take by Woodson and it was always expected the next coach would drop him. Probably wants more NIL than he’s worth but someone will take him based on his IU commitment alone.
