Very curious to see how this all turns out. College football is the greatest sport on earth. Hope this doesnt change that. I mean basically, they were getting paid before but now its just going to be legal? Or is there a lot more to it?

The governor supports bag men

"I just want to say Florida is leading on this and if you're a blue-chip high school recruit out there trying to figure out where to go I think any of our Florida schools is a great landing spot,” DeSantis said. "For all of our great high school players, stay in state. I see people going to Alabama and Clemson and I know they've got good programs, but there's nothing better than winning a national championship in your home state. So maybe this will be an added incentive.”

Even though it is not effective til next year, the players we are recruiting now can benefit when they get here. Somebody fill me in. Are we going to be able to keep up with the $EC now? Are we going to get outsider help that just want to take advantage of our market? Cant we be selling kids on this now for this recruiting class ? So sick and tired of all these 5 star players going elsewhere. Give me hope please lol

This is really good for our womens teams, too. Now those athletes can monetize their social media accounts with product placement, as influencers, etc.

With as many tomato cans as we've been rolling out on the field over the last 15 years, DiMare would be a great endorsement partner

Donald De La Haye should 100% be reconsidered for eligibility if that is in his interests, hes doing his thing with YouTube but seriously....fvck the entire ncaa for that clown show ruling.

From my understanding, UM is not a huge merchandise selling entity, so this doesn't really help us in the "legit" way. Large schools that sell a ton of player jerseys/merch will be able to brag about how high their percentage will hit, while ours will remain modest. Tebow alone would of banked with those jort wearing weirdos... On the shady side, it does allow us to legally get into the bag game a bit by using my thoughts above.. having boosters, and businesses buy up crap ton of merch to balance out with the UF's of the world. Middle-men boosters wouldn't even lose money, if they set up legit online store fronts to resell the merch.

unless I'm looking at it all too simply.
