They were run heavy before he got there...

That’s the staple of the Moorehead Offense, it’s the same system he ran at Penn St & that’s Mario philosophy as a HC.

Play Physical, run the ball, play aggressive Defense & eat up the clock.

Josh Moore has been more productive and he plays in an offense with a similar philosophy.

People think Moorehead is high flying because for a couple years he had Saquan and McSorley was throwing moonballs to Godwin and Gesicki.

And the fact he was known as "RPO guru" when it blew up few years ago when Franklin bought him to happy valley
 
My frat knocked out his daddy, I knocked out the dude next to him, and we held his SB ring hostage for two days back in 2003. That’s my connections to The Pittmans. Lol

Anyways, Mycah should be frustrated, but there’s no reason to air out the biz when u’re on the cusp of the CFP. He’ll probably go to SC…honestly was shocked he went to Oregon over SC. But for 3 yrs, he’s not getting the rock when he’s a talent.

With one caveat:

Mario believes that if you truly have an elite QB, then you don't take the air out of the ball.

Look at Justin Hebert's senior year (2019). He threw over 400 times and for over 3,500 yards.

I would expect similar numbers from TVD if (hopefully when) he's our next HC.

No one who watched Herbert would say he aired it out. There is a post in another thread that discusses it. Depth of target, yards per attempt.

Herbert's draft class for example.

2019 Stats

Burrow's average yards per attempt was over 3 yards more than Herbert
Tua was was over 4 yards more per attempt.

ALOT of WR and RB screens for Herbert.

I’m not going to put him on blast, but yeah my frat was equally as swole. legit, we thought he was on roids. But in fairness, Mike was sitting down. It was an accident, my frat didn’t even know who he was. He got shoved in his back & he thought it was Pitt, and got immediately swung on. The dude next to him got up to try to intervene, but I saw hands go up, so I Nyquil’d him on spot. Huge riot bro; chair thrown, my frat sister got hit on the side of the head w/ a chair thrown. It was a mess for about 10 minutes. Whole arena started fighting, dog.

After that, they changed everything about the step show as far who could be on the floor, security, etc.

The old me, brotha. Lol. Daddy always said if u’re going to swing, make it count once, no more than twice. Lol. But u will NEVER catch me fighting today. Too many cowards that wanna shoot vs taking an *** whooping like a man & be cool afterwards.
