Where did you come up with this one? I can see everything else but do you really think that just cause Stephen Morris isn't the guy anymore that it will be better with two guys who came in in June and the winner might be straight out of high school? I think you are putting in a lot of early stock in on that one.

I mean, last time we played them we converted what, ONE third down? Hard to get less efficient at QB than that...

Duke alone gives you a 10 point swing. It still will come down to the defense, our D line needs to pressure the QB with just 4 rushing. If the Canes have to use LB's to rush the passer then the lanes will be open to throw

Duke helps our cause so much..I guess the D will be better?? We have tons of play makers.. Lets play. We'll see.

I think the OP is spot on, i don't think Louisville is going to see us comin and boy are we coming like a freight train.

I aint scared of those dirty birds

Negged!

Yearby is going to shock everyone on Labor Day. Including our fan base.

He is ready to play.

O-line is my biggest concern , l-villes dline had their way. Morris was running for his life and our D was on the field way too long.

I'll go along with overall team speed, DB play, and Duke. I would add Yearby, also. They're gonna be so relieved when they see Duke go out for a blow.....only to be confronted with nightmare number 2. Not sure how much difference Chad will make. Hopeful, but not entirely confident about the QB play.

Although they couldn't figure out in 4 quarters how to respond to UL dline not getting in a stance, I hope that given 9 months Golden & Co. finally have some answers.

it's fitting that the Cardinals wear red because they will be laying the red carpet for our playmakers to walk into the endzone.

Im starting to think Duke and Yearby will become one of the best 1 2 punches in college football, that boy is legit.

Im intrigued by the pieces on defense but Ill wait til we play Louisville and Nebraska before I start to hop on board.

This is going to be a very different game then the last one, that's for sure.

Truth is none of you know what to expect. Sorry to rain on the parade but we just have to wait and see. A true FR and a Kansas BYU double transfer. Don't know what to expect. If our D doesn't make a 180 we are in trouble and will remain the case until they have.

Miami is a lot more talented overall as opposed to last year.

I still expect this game to be an uphill battle, however.

I don't see it.

We will be slower than Dec 29th.

Even a fake injury Morris is better than Heaps.

Duke will get injured.

Dorito.

Golden.

Petrino.

Someone convince me and don't say "Duke". Saw him knocked out of every game we have ever played besides WF last year. Saw him staggering like Dean Martin at Happy Hour first Qtr of the FAU game!!!!!

The talent is there, no question about it. Players have to make plays and the coaches have to shown that they have made improvements as a staff.

In case you haven't been following, Strong left UL for Texas and UL hired Petrino who hired a new DC who doesn't stand their dline like Strong did.
