1) No Duke + No Dorsett = -offensive output
Our OL should be embarassed. Kehoe needs to **** off.
2) The 3-4 defense works. It has worked for many years. a 3-4 SOFT COVER 2 WHICH CAUSES YOUR LB'S TO HAVE TO COVER WIDE RECEIVERS WILL NOT WORK unless your Linebackers are Antrell Rolle, Kelly Jennings, Kenny Phillips. Last night took me back to Glenn Cook and Romeo Davis and Chavez Grant.
Im not the "CALL FOR YOUR HEAD" guy. I ALWAYS give what I think is ample time and opportunity for a coach to develop so we can see what hes about at his best. In 2010, FSU pounded us at home. People had been calling for Shannons head for over a year up to that point, but not ol P. Well, that was the game. After that drubbing I joined in to the Fire Randy group.
It was last night that gave me that same feeling for coach D. Not only does he suck, but hes stubborn, and he has no accountability. Somebodys gotta go, and if Golden will not fire Coach D for an upgrade, as much as I love the guy, his *** needs to go to for not having any balls.
Just embarassing. We dont deserve to be ranked and we will not win the COASTAL again.
Few notes - We were VERY unlucky. Every ball bounced into a VT players hands.
Defensive players were getting noticeably ****ed off when noone was there to stop the crossing route over and over and over and over. "Trust your coaching"... they will til it doesnt work against good teams. Then they will resent you and you will lose your locker room.
