If you got love for Miami but have doubts about this staff and administration well just wait till feb to sign because the calvary is on the way. New leader ship is going to be hired and turn this around with the quickness. Dont jump the gun and regret not being a part of the new era.

If you know a top recruit do your part canes nation, we need every player we can get.

Not trying to sound like a broken record but i
legit don’t care about this class if we hire the right AD and coach. The portal is there, i’m sure the new coach will add some guys, and when he wins big next year you can recruit a loaded class like a boss

Not worried about early NLOI day with how many kids are expected to enter the portal.
 
This class was F'ed with or without Manny so who cares. Hopefully get a new coach by the new year then sign like 10 kids and hammer the transfer portal for 10 more. The good news, unless he transfers, is we have a legit QB in TVD returning (and hopefully Garcia). The hardest position to fill is QB and we are setup nicely.

Plenty of kids sign up to attend their 'dream school' every year. We all read the quotes all the time. I guess it doesn't apply to UM though. Must be something in the Everglades water flushing all the kids away.

A shame what the entire recruiting department and coaches have done this year...obviously not much.
 
That loss to FSU is going to cause even more recruiting issues. Holding to Manny this long is going to put this program back years. I sincerely hope ya'll have patience for this because it's going to be a rebuild.

Stop doing this. They should not give a **** what you think and if they do I hope they do not join our team.

We were fvcked with this class no matter what so it is what it is. The new coach is going to have to show results immediately so heavy portalling is essential so we can get kids who can step in right away and add value.

Good thing is there is a ton of salvageable talent out there in the portal so while it’s not ideal a good coach can make do with it for the next few years until we get the roster right.

Ehh I disagree, Majority of the guys are returning next year that are currently starting or playing a role.

We wil probbaly only lose:
1. Rambo
2. J Williams RT 62
3. Donaldson
4. Mccloud
5. D Johnson
6. Carter - mute give me chase smith
7. Frierson - mute give me chase smith
8. Ford - more reps for LT
9. Nesta - more reps for LT

If we can secure a portal lineman (which if we get Mario, should not be a problem), 2 portal DTs, Portal DE, 2 portal LBs, and probably a portal CB we should be in good shape to compete.

Does Nesta have anymore eligibility left? I can't remember. If so, he needs to return, he's undersized and while he does create havoc in the backfield it's not consistent enough. He's not an Aaron Donald type that can get away with being undersized, needs to keep working.

I believe he does. The whole 2018 recruiting class should have one more year left.
