Morrison's return

Starting middle linebacker Antonio Morrison's suspension from practice was lifted and he returned to the team Thursday night. He's facing a two-game suspension, but Muschamp indicated that it could be reduced between now and the start of the season.

“He's still working through some things,” Muschamp said. “I feel like missing a week of camp was a pretty strong statement to him and where I stood with some things. He's still working on things. He's still a part of our team. He was never not a part of our team. He was just suspended from all team activities.

"I'm still working through that (the possibility of reducing or eliminating the two-game suspension). He's still going through some things for me right now. We're working through that at this point."

“He and I had a really good conversation Wednesday afternoon and talked about a lot of things and where things were. We've talked continuously through the summer. Part of being the head coach and when a young man has poor judgment you work them through it and you educate them and you help them and what's what we're doing.”

noone actually thought that would stick though, did they?

the day wins and losses stop mattering is the day good players sit for less than murder.

no surprise, at uf you can shoot people in the face and the ncaa wont investigate.

Good. Hopefully morris abuses him like bridgewater did last year in the sugar Bowl

There was no way they were going to sit their best defensive player in a game versus "the school they wish they could be"

So Olivier Vernon had to sit 6 games for sitting in a luxury box, but a kid who actually breaks the law twice in one offseason only misses one game. Makes sense.
