and everybody whos continue to be out there supporting the team every game. I was there at 530 in the morning and there were so many people already starting to pour in. The whole tailgate was live and we were talking dirty **** to every douchebag gator that walked by. So much energy in that stadium, anyone still complaining about that place must not be there for all the big games. Even fau it was awesome. Its not perfect at all, but its about the people who choose to fill it.
Also gotta love the confidence this defense is starting to play with. Love to fire and physicality, I can't wait to rewatch this game later 2day, but I was very impressed with the defense. They won the game for us like 3 times over lol. Our transition to a more 3-4 base is doing wonders.
I'll spare going in depth on the offense. Its clear we are still trying to develop a rhythm with Coley calling plays. WRs and Morris seeing different things in coverage, looks like we run a fair amount of option routes. Also think we are telegraphing our runs a little much pre-snap (uifs the best front 4 we will face all year). The 2 up coming bye weeks (Yes savannah st. is a bye) should do a lot to help I think.
Stayed after for a while and got to shoot the **** with some of the players. Bush, Chickillo, Kirby, Hurns were a few there, all just seem like really cool people. You could tell how truly happy they were to get this win. Made sure to tell them, although its clear Golden has already been preaching this, to enjoy the win 2day but get back to work tomorrow.
HUGE win for the program and the city, lets build on this.
