Most disappointing thing this game points out for #(Miami) is that there’s been very little defensive personnel development from years to one to three under (Mario). Lack of overall speed and athleticism is not close to program standard.

Development. Evaluations.

Needs to be better, starting asap with the winter portal and HS close.

As of right now, we have maybe 5 difference makers from the portal in 3 seasons of portal work. That’s atrocious. And I think it’s really closer to 3, but I’ll be nice.

A good talent evaluator does not **** this up over and over again.

It's annoying how our D looked good last year, tackling well, etc, then Guidry seems to be utterly incapable of fixing basic issues this year, our tackling has regressed, and our pass rush has regressed despite better LBs and DL players.

Defensive team speed just isn’t there. Plus you replaced kam and James with Harris and meech. Tackling downgrade by a mile. No arguments. And kiko looks worse this year

80million for a guy everyone thinks is a lousy coach but supposedly stacks talent...

If you're in year 3 and, arguably, the 2nd most important player on the team is Damari fkin Brown.... That's awful

This!!!, Kam and JW are NFL players. Watching Jaden Harris and Meesh hurts, and then Patterson just doesnt look ready yet.
But it's ironic that Kam and JW struggled last year for us but seem to be doing well in the NFL... Could it be coaching and player development is lacking like so many on here have said time and again?

IDK, maybe, the DBs look so lost in passing downs, the 3rd and like 18 today, where meesh was playing Striker on the Slot WR, and just left his man to run free, and then GT converted, he looked back and was like 🤷‍♂️

Or when Patterson was on the opposite hash and had to cover a wide receiver running an out route on the opposite side of the field- like WTF? how is he supposed to get there. its some really bad defensive calls that dont make sense. im not a football coach or anything like that, i played highschool, madden and watch ball, but jeez it looks bad.

Other than losing to this guy at qb?

Different D corches I know but DJ Ivey, tyrique, kam and jw from our 22 squad that got murdered by mtsu are all on NFL rosters.

Or against Louisville when Guidry had the entire D line outside of the tackles on a 3rd and short and Chaney ran up the middle for 20?

We actually got a lot of pressure last year on LB blitzes which is why Kiko looked good and not this years version of Kiko.
