It was Baby Jesus... He back:
It took them an entire half but in the end, seniors Kevin Olsen and Cristian Rodriguez do what they do best: win.
The Patriots and Comets were deadlocked 0-0 after the first half Friday night. Then Olsen connected with senior tailback Robbie Schiller on a 41-yard touchdown pass and the rout was on.
The Patriots got it done on special teams too. Senior linebacker Hunter Beck blocked a punt and fellow senior linebacker Ryan Kardux recovered it in the end zone.
Hills will play at top-seeded Pascack Valley in the semifinals Nov. 30 in Hillsdale.
Pascack Valley beat Sparta 42-0 on Friday night. They beat the Patriots 35-21 Oct. 12. Kevin Olsen did not play in that game due to a broken foot he suffered in the first game of the season.
Kevin Olsen is a nationally ranked quarterback who was named one of the top 11 quarterbacks in the country at the ESPN Elite 11 camp earlier this year. He's verbally committed to attend the University of Miami, his brother Greg's alma matter.
The Patriots (6-4) are trying to win their ninth state sectional group championship under legendary coach Chris Olsen. Olsen will retire at the end of the season.
MSG Varsity is filming the team throughout the season for “New Jersey’s Last Patrtiot,” a documentary about Kevin Olsen and his family.
Olsen and the team were mired in controversy last season when nine players, including then-senior wide receiver Andrew Monaghan, with aggravated assault after they allegedly attacked two Wayne Valley students at a Halloween party last October.
Those players were suspended for the team’s sectional championship game at MetLife Stadium. The team defeated Old Tappan on a late fourth-quarter touchdown pass by Kevin Olsen.
Seven of the players were sentenced to probation in February. Charges were dropped against an eighth in March.

How Awesome is The Chosen One to have a documentary made about him before even setting foot on a college campus? Not only that, but they named it "New Jersey's Last Patriot". That's bad ***. Johnny Football eats Olsen Oatmeal for breakfast. I dun told yall the Prophesy will be fulfilled!
