The emotional win just minutes old, Stephen Morris' eyes were already downfield.

It's Notre Dame week.

And it started just as Miami finished off NC State 44-37 on Saturday afternoon in Sun Life Stadium. The Miami quarterback, fresh off a record day, gathered the team in the locker room to remind them what the next oe means These once-bitter rivals haven't met in the regular season since 1990.

"I've been waiting for this game since freshman year," Morris said after breaking Miami and ACC records with 566 passing yards. "It's going to mean a lot to me and my family. It's going to mean a lot to the program."

For those who will play, Morris made sure they understood what was at stake Saturday afternoon. Stay out of trouble, he said. Don't celebrate this win too much because the next one is a legacy maker

Nothing about Notre Dame's team makes me nervous. The cold and hostile environment...sure, a little. We can beat these assclowns.

Correct me if i am wrong, but I thought I read somewhere that ND weakness on D is their secondary. They have escaped thus far because no one they have played has the ability to test the secondary. Hopefully I did not dream this up because Morris might be the guy to light these cats up.

They are thin there for sure, I haven't watched them long enough to know if their a weakness.

Impressive. Kid may "get it" as more than Al.

Lets face it. Most of these kids were not an itch in their fathers crotch when this rivalry truly mattered. But if Steven and his family know the importance and what this game means, then this weeks practice maybe the most focused and intense of the entire year.

I'm already wishing this week away!! Time to fire up those old ND games to help get pumped!!

They have maybe 1 or 2 scholarship corner, they moved a receiver there and they had a top safety go down, Zeke Motta is probably their best returning DB but other than that none of the other guys have that much experience. Compared to the rest of their D this is the biggest glaring weakness but as we know a aggressive front seven can make up for that, and they have one of the best in the nation.

Stephon Tuitt is on a tear at 6'6 300 pounds he plays end and they stunt and move him around alot. They also run a 3-4 front so they bring pressure from all over. You will see Teo drop back in coverage and also blitz up the middle. If we can block they up we should have plenty of success through the air because there will be plays to be had. The main key is blocking them up.

ND secondary is real bad. they have not played a team with a pulse in the passing game...Mich maybe but they've looked pretty bad and dont run a pro style attack like we do.

we will not be able to line it up and run right at them IMO. i think we will spread them out and throw a lot and slow down the rush with screens and draws. our OL is good enough that we could present a real problem for their defense
