Talking to a few people this morning...Miami was just too far behind from the get-go. Jeudy had never even talked to Miami until the new staff got here. He was absolutely locked in to Alabama until Ron Dugans got him to even listen to their pitch. Canes hoped to prolong the decision as long as possible, but he's Bama's.

oh well. We knew it was a longshot. Gotta stay on him though while focusing on more realistic targets. We need to go after Harley.

Any idea if Jeudy's commitment will have any impact on Devonta Smith? With Bama getting Shavers and Jeudy, one would hope Smith would see a greater opportunity at Miami...and, personally, I like Smith better as a polished/early impact WR anyway.
 
I hope he enjoys blocking for Scarbrough...and catching 2 passes a game.
 
deejay dallas might have to come in as wr instead of db....could play in that Malcolm Mitchell role

How do you not recruit someone like Jerry Juedy?? Another recruiting failure by the previous staff
 
All we can do is stay on the kid, and hope this opens the door for Devonta Smith.

Gotta offer Harley as well.
