Don't disagree with him. South Florida kids seem to hold Miami in an impossible light. Sure, things are bad right now. But I look at a guy like Nunn and question why he decommitted. You're on the defensive side of the ball, that part for Miami is balling out right now and puts their players in the best position to win. When Miami starts losing, recruiting turns into a dumpster fire. But we've seen UF put together 2 4-win seasons within a 5-year span, and their recruiting takes a minor hit. And before anyone mentions their success, 2009 was Meyer's last year at UF and they haven't been that good since going on nearly a decade now.
They only hold us to that standard because there are only two extremes here. Either you or the people around you support the U or the complete opposite. Lot of roaches in these kids ears.Look at FSU. You'd think EVERYONE would have bailed on them by now. But only on us.
Definitely valid response...but I think they see the scheme and system and say no way I am playing in that for 4 yearsJust saw this posted:

Cause these kids have vivid memories of fsu winning a championship in 2013. Yeah yeah I know that was a different coach and whatever but still these kids don’t know dominant MiamiLook at FSU. You'd think EVERYONE would have bailed on them by now. But only on us.
100% facts. I hate to even mention it but I cant help but wonder how much this has to do with bags. Other teams can totally collapse and still pull big talent. We are sitting in the most fertile recruiting area and struggle to pull regardless. It can be a combination of kids craving the drama, wanting to get away from home, etc...but money talks.

This is true man, especially in Broward. I went to school in Broward and all the kids wanted to go to UF it made me sick. I know it was mostly because UM was a private school and tougher to get into, but by all the cool kids going to UF it made more UF fans because of their peers. I graduated in 09' and there were more kids reppin FSU and UF than Miami, I can't imagine how bad it is now that a lot of kids down there probably had brothers and sisters go to those two schools and are now fans of those programs because of it.They only hold us to that standard because there are only two extremes here.
