I watched most of that game, and it's amazing how similar Mizzou looked to some of our previous teams. The incredibly slow start, the lack of good end-of-half plays, and wasted offensive possessions that ended up with a guy jacking up a contested three. I know they were missing one of their best players, but it was still eerie to watch. It felt like deja vu.

Haith inherited a bunch of good, seasoned players. He will be fired in 2 years If Missouri's hand isn't forced sooner by the NCAA.

Mizzou looked liked they didn't have a clue; we have a good bball team but to lose by 31 is embarrassing. Is this guy that bad at coaching?

He's a really good recruiter, but he's not a good Xs and Os guy. His teams always play hard, and Haith deserves credit for that, but they don't always play smart. They'll often go through long stretches of disjointed offense where they won't score and will look terrible in doing so. They also tend to be slow in adjusting defensively. I watched your game against Mizzou, and it seems like all of those things happened at the same time. Mizzou is a better team than what you saw (they were missing one of their best players), but that team looked so much like one of our squads under Haith that I felt I was experiencing deja vu.

I don't even think he's that great of a recruiter. He got some good recruits at Miami, but his best pull was a transfer, Jack. He didn't recruit Diaz, he didn't recruit Hite. He left some BIG holes when he left. It almost seemed as if he banked on getting transfers from Jack to McGowan to Grant to Kadji to TMJ. That covered up for his high school recruiting misses.
