Miramar beats STA

gogeta4 what happened to Miramar?

seems they haven’t had much big talent since Grace but they had a great run

Jesse Smith - does he have a D1 offer? Looked a little undersized but could be a WLB for a non-P5 at 210-215lbs.

Your boy Dominick Watt been ballin this year, him & Terrence Horne have had a great season for them.

They got some young talent too, another LB to add to the 2019 class Tyriq Brown.

And they got that Freshman RB Katravis Geter, jit can really run & is a future beast out there.

I saw them play against Western a couple weeks ago. Real deal, definitely a state title contender.

Anyone see the game live? Did Blades play, start, or make an impact?

I have to say, he seems like the biggest enigma in this class with him not starting, if that's still the case.

I was at the game. Blades played a lot in the first half. They threw a few deep passes his way that were incomplete but he was beaten. Then he didn't play much in the 2nd half and STA spent a lot of the game in nickel

Nothing happened really..they had coaching turnover. Their coach went to wvu. They still produced some talent. Then alot of the carol city kids stayed home..Carol City won states last year...Miramar seems poise to go on a state run this year though. Like i said they got a whole bunch of kids from Mcarthur..the current hc was their last year. (they got Watt, Smith, 3 or 4 other div 1 level players) they went east to grab kids and its paid off. They really should be undefeated but lost fluky to Chaminade.

I This area of Miramar/Pembroke Pines/Miami Gardens has the most youth football talent in south florida..next to Liberty City.

Big and physical corner, something just doesn't add up here. Looks great in shorts, famous last name, but either his coaches are dunces or something doesn't add up.

Plus size kid. Played varsity about 4 years. He should be a Mac level player at least..not sure if he got offers..He transferred tewice this spring after leaving Mcarthur.

These are the kids that need help getting a ship somewhere. If he has plus size then he has the speed and hips to play in space at WLB. Sad he transferred twice, grades? He sounded like he had his stuff together in the interview.

Miramar came up when cc was down, alot of Carol city kids would just go across county line into Broward. Easy trip. Now cc kids stayed home, won state.

They have a junior with a um offer at cb.. Kid is just as good as Blades. Blades rotates...its something they have been doing. His coaches are former nfl guys at db.

no not grades. He left initially to one school, then when realized the coach from mcarthur got the head job at Miramar he went over their. He's very atheltic and if he puts on weight he will be an all conference player he has always made plays.

They got some fast *** dudes on the track team. Taylor banks 10.3....that Terrence horn Jr is a 10.4 guy at least. Jamal Walton is fast as ****. Not sure if he plays football... all 3 of those guys run 10.4 or better. Plus they have some other fast guys too. If they all play football then dam, team speed is unmatched

Not really worried about Blades once Rumph gets a hold of him he'll be just fine... already plays with a lot of confidence. Always good to see South Florida powerhouses return to glory

Don't forget, Carver Ranches traditionally fed Hallandale, McArthur and Miramar. I went to Miramar when Ericht Rhett was at McArthur and Sherard Parker was at Hallandale (the Hudson brothers were at Miramar), so its not unnatural for that Miramar/McArthur consolidation. Kids at Ives Dairy, Scott Lake, SWABJAA, SEYA and Washington Park all went to Miramar back in the day.

Good stuff, good to see folks that remember the old landscape.

im from miramar and played at mcarthur. I know the area as good as anyone, thats why i try to tell em the area produces heavy div 1 players. Those are just the public schools. This area gets recruited hard by privates. (Major Wright)Sta, American Heritage (Wilsons, bunch of others) and Miami Pace.

Carver Ranches still is feeding the same schools thought most of their kids should be at Mcarthur, they spread em to Miramar and Hallandale.
