I've watched this cats film like 3-4 times and still can't get over his speed at 330 pounds. The way he plays looks like he's 260-270 pounds, shoots gaps and gets down field like a de. One of the most impressive big man athletes I've seen in awhile. Moving that nimble while looking like you're pregnant with triplets is just insane. His lower body looks like the prototypical type stump.

When I saw "2 /3 star former Ga Southern commit" I was like " here we go again , taking butt plugs 2.0 types like the Golden era". Boy how my jaw hit the floor when I hit the hudl.

I've been negative on the DL recruiting the last two years ( rightfully so) but I think we hit the sleeper lottery. Thank god he didn't hit camp circuit or we'd probably be even more f'd.

My question is with our pathetic DL numbers does he rs? Or getting in a college nutrition / s&c plan does he make enough of a jump to make the coaches have to play him?

I know he's strong but his technique looks raw.

Btw, if you haven't watched film I'd advise you to take a look.

Looking forward to seeing what he can do at Miami.

We just need to turn over a few more stones, I guess, to try to find another hidden one for this class in the middle.

Great prospect to replace Norton. It's just probably gonna be a year before he's ready to contribute.

I like him a lot. I actually think our DT depth chart looks decent (assuming no serious injuries).

OTOH, our DE depth chart looks scary. After Joe Jack and Garvin, we're counting on two guys coming off injuries and a skinny pure FR.

I was thinking the same think. I might be overstating it but the last time I saw that quickness in that size was Jerome and Tez. I always thought about those two a dancing grizzlies. I got the same feeling with him. My concern is that Kul seems to be a DE specialist. We might need an interior dline Coach to help him out.

He does look very good. We are very lucky to have him fall into our lap.

That said - I think he plays unless Martin once and for all shows that he can be a contributor.

Martin was a project so we knew he needed time. But is **** or get off the pot time. It's year three with suspect depth.

It's now or never

I was just about to come here and post this.

Yo Jordan Miller can straight up ball. He's punishing guys. For being morbidly obese, he has amazing acceleration.

Gus needs to straight up starve this cat and have him lifting all day. We don't have the luxury of redshirting him, but I expect him to actually be a really good player here

Look at the picture of him with Nesta and the other guy. His calf muscles are the size of a small European country. Kid will be a great one here, and everyone will wonder how he went under the radar so long.

He allows Diaz to play a 3-4 when needed. We have a lot of fast speedy DE's and good LB's with the 2017 crop having a year under their belt. His quickness as mentioned is exceptional. His weight room strength back in HS season 500 squat, 350 bench and 300 clean are pretty decent and now he has access to the U strength coaches. Look for those numbers along with his general fitness/conditioning to go up considerably between now and August. He has the natural structure to be an easy 600 squatter and 400 bencher within a year.

Gonna be forced to play this year. Although we will return all dts for 2019, so maybe would get by with 4 dts in ‘18. I guess a lot will depend on what he does between now and his arrival. If he takes the off-season program seriously, could play next year. If not, roll with the 4 and get him ready for ‘19. My guess is he will play a little in ‘18.

What factual information do you have that suggests he cannot coach up defensive tackles?

I have the same thoughts as @Cribby. Our d-line recruiting has to revamp, but Miller is actually a solid pick up. Amazed that he went under the radar for so long until the 11th hour.

This dude is playing. Not much of a choice here. Starve his *** and have him lift all day every day.

Our DTs: Willis (could **** hot or go crazy again at any moment), Ford, Nesta, Bethel (maybe we'll be forced to play him at DE?), Martin (looking like a bust), Miller.

5 DTs isn't enough. 6 really might not be either. We can't shirt him. We need to pray Willis can keep it together until mid-January 2019.

I wouldn't call Martin a bust yet, now next year at this time we're having the same conversation ? Then yeah, he'll be the new " big Hoss fines"
