Is there any reason why he doesn't have his offer yet? Can someone enlighten me? My thought process is with Grimes committing ***** a$$ Ohio state that the clock is ticking with Harley. If he balls out against BT Washington he's about to start recieving a lot of attention.

I like Mike but he has to prove it in real football. Not saying he won't...but we have way too many guys on here in love with 7v7 football. It's a tell but it's not the game. I think our staff is wise with how they're playing it. If he balls out the next few weeks, they'll aggressively push for him. If he doesn't we push for others. I like it.

Just let the staff do what they are going to do. Ppl on here worry about him getting an offer more than he does probably. Just let it play out!!
 
Grimes shut down his recruitment? Really? You're the only guy in the country who thought there's a chance he goes anywhere but OSU. This isn't new and he didn't just shut down his recruitment.

He wasn't "committed" til today with the lights and cameras of b/r technically so yes as of today he's OFFICIALLY shut down his recruitment. It wasn't a secret he was going there but he obviously wanted a **** televised dodgeball tourney to show it. Are you that dense?

Wow Ohio St received commits today from both 2017 5* WR Trevon Grimes, but also 2017 4* Tyjon Lindsey. That is a good haul unfortunately for OSU.

I think Miami will have opportunity in the end to flip 2017 WR Mike Harley. It sounds like Harley is listening to what Miami has say, which is always a good start.

Has nothing to do with Grimes and everything to do with Smith and Hollomon. We're clearly trending in the right direction for both of these guys. And MAYBE just MAYBE Richt and Co. are confident we are going to have a good season which will lead to getting big time prospects like these two.
 
Am i sense? I can't imagine UM's recruiting efforts were on hold as they waited for the official announcement from grimes. I can't imagine he factored in their efforts or plans. So, now that grimes is officially gone, I don't think it has changed anything at UM.

Just as recent as 3 days ago he said he will be visiting Miami...
Also, his dad Mike Sr is a HUGE Dolphins fan, like a fanatic, so one could assume that us playing in Hard Rock stadium has to be a plus right?
And, did you guys not listen to Pete's last podcast? He said he thinks Harley will be in this class.

Harley weighs 155 pounds. I think they will wait to see a few of the early games on him in pads...I know I would.
 
My God....Harley is a good player, but there are better on the board for us....he is going to have to wait a minute

Butch Davis took the same approach with Roscoe Parrish. Butch never offered him, and he was on his way to Old ****. When Coker got the job one of the first things he did was offer Roscoe.
