Of course Tim Tebow is all in on Jeanty. Doesn't think it's even a close race.

Andre Ware doesn't see it that way. He says the level of competition should also be considered. Wants to see how he does in the upcoming games, including the three toughest games on their schedule coming up.

I think he has something like 600 yards after contact which is more than some teams total. He’s a monster and will be a beast at the next level. A very complete back.

He said Ward #3 :ROFLMAO:

If Ward played for OSU , Bama , USC, Texas , OU , LSU or UGA with these stats he’s running away with the award. Just another reason why it’s a bs trophy. All political.
Tebow said if he were voting today he'd have Cam 3rd behind Jeanty and Travis Hunter

Andre Ware is a big Cam Ward fan. Seems like Cam's his #1

Dillon Gabriel is the 4th guy they mentioned

Three groups of people vote for the Heisman Trophy:

  • Sports journalists: 870 media members from six regions across the country:

    • Far West

    • Mid-Atlantic

    • Southwest

    • Northeast

    • Midwest

    • South

    • Each region has 145 voters

  • Living Heisman winners: 57 living former Heisman Trophy winners

  • Fans: One fan vote is determined by a survey conducted by ESPN on the Nissan Heisman House website

Each voter ranks their top three choices on a ballot, with first place receiving 3 points, second place 2 points, and third place 1 point. The player with the most points wins the award. The top four vote-getters become the Heisman finalists and are invited to New York City for the ceremony.

Jeanty is killing it and lighting up the stat sheet so I'm not referring to him with this statement, but just in general

I think that's always such a weird stat for people to claim

an RB who has 95% of a team's rushing offense has more than most fbs teams (who all run the ball less than that original team) - of course said player is going to have more rushing yards when he's the feature back

now it a WR had more receiving yards than a team or something like that, then we're talking about stats that are truly telling and not just a collection of things that make sense

how many yards he's getting is more impressive than having more yards than other teams

This makes no sense at all. In 2024 most teams college and NFL operate with multiple backs. The fact that he is outgaining entire backfields is the stat.

Also in the past playing for a team like Boise would pretty much disqualify you from having any chance at Heisman. The standard definitely changed. Politics.
