"Simplicity is the key to execution."

If Golden and Coach D just let these kids play without having to think so much I think we'd see major improvement.

Did he say that when FSU's 4th string was better than other teams' starters or when Wake Forest was beating them at home?

C'mon, guy was a great DC. You wouldn't take him in his prime over D'Onofrio?

I'll take the mid-90s FSU defense over 2013 Miami defense, yes. But since we are talking play station can I put Sapp in his prime with Wilfork on our current line and see if anything changes?

We have enough talent to not get embarrassed like we did last week. That's not up for debate.

I've been a Golden fan, but something needs to change.

You guys could beat a dead horse and mock coach d all you want, but it is not going to change the outcome of last week's game, the reality that the turnovers were too much to overcome, the fact that the defense is not where it needs to be or that the offensive leaders are either hurt, soft or inept, if not all 3.

None of which has anything to do with quotes from Mickey Andrews, a guy who was also in disfavor with the fans in the not so distant past.

I'm not satisfied with multiple elements of the program, but I'm not going to start 50 versions of the same thread to stomp my feet about it. I am going to drive down to the Virginia game to support the team without an agenda and root them on without letting the disappointment get the best of me. Probably have a few beers in the process.

Is it bad that I miss that team? I guess it was all highlights, but it looked like we were capable on defense. We might give up the big play, but we didnt give up the same drag route over and over.

Anyone else actually miss whipple's offense? I liked the unbalanced line and the play-action on first down he used to run. But then again I do remember all the interceptions.

The man was raped here...yet looked what he had to work with....a bad Qb, okay Wrs at best...no running backs and of course his boss.....If I was a coordinator I am not sure I would even look at Miami anymore.....tough place to work and get settled in.

Whipple was better than people gave him credit for. He wasn't great, but he was a serviceable OC.
