When did that happen? Where the **** have I been? Apparently not paying attention. Anyway, he's their 3rd leading rusher this year (223 yards on 44 carries) but he only played in 7 games because of an injury and has been ruled out of the bowl game with an injury. Their second leading rusher, Senorise Perry (631 yards on 135 carries) is supposed to be back from injury and play.

gun charges or was it drugs?

It was his gun that those three or four Auburn thugs used to rob that drug house a couple of years back. He got implicated and that's how it started. From there, he got popped with a couple of drug tests and got suspended. Never came back from it, IIRC.

You absolutely have to read the ESPN article that they did on it regarding Auburn and the national championship team with its drug and gun problems that they had going on behind the scenes. It was a feature article in their magazine and one of the most interesting articles I have ever read. Considering all of us here are college football fanatics I can almost positively say anyone that hasn't read it will absolutely LOVE it. Hopefully anyone here that has read it can back me up.

Accordingly, I have negged myself until I find the link to the article to share with everyone

Here is the article, absolute MUST read for all football fans:

On another note, here is an article saying that this ESPN article is full of ****. Just thought it was only fair to put this out there, too.

Don't really care, the ESPN special report (1st one up top) is absolutely mesmerizing as I remember it and has awesome behind the scenes information on Auburn's national championship team which had some SERIOUS problems and ultimately cost the head coach (I believe), Dyer, and a few other kids their positions within Auburn's program despite winning a national championship, which says a lot. Also very very interesting that Guz Malzahn was the offensive coordinator at the time and ends up coming back as the head coach down the road. Read this article guys. You won't regret it.
