But that's where Golden entered the picture. As the medical staff moved his ankle and foot back in the right direction, Golden held his unsettled receiver. Lewis just remembers Golden reaffirming his love in the most painful moments.

"It just showed me where his mind was at as a person, how he cared for us as a person before a player," Lewis said.
