Miami to take 2 QBs in 2017????

* per Interview, QB Cade Weldon says Miami told him they are looking to add 2 QBs this cycle.... Interesting...

Who will we go after hard to fill those slots, more importantly what QBs will get pushed ouy to Transfer?? Rosier...Sherriffs? Thoughts?

Im thinkin we take Cade Weldon and a lower Rated QB (James Blackman)

We'll have 4 on scholly and the possibility of Brad leaving could mean 3 qbs so it only makes sense to hedge yourself for the worst case scenario.

Makes sense..... Man I hope Brad doesnt leave... would be great to have him for his Senior Season

If Weldon is a take, then I assume he'd be the lower-rated QB in the class and the staff will continue to pursue blue-chip recruits to fill the other slot.

Can't just take 1 a year. This shouldn't surprise anyone including recruits on the heels of two straight single QB classes.
 
Our #1 target at QB is N'Kosi Perry...Some could even say he is the #1 target on our board for 2017. Anybody else is going to be the #2 QB that Richt is pursuing

We have 5 on the roster with no seniors...No program needs 7 scholarship QB's...Somebody is getting pushed out or leaving if he finishes with 2 QB's

California has always been good in producing quality QB's for Miami, hopefully Mark Richt makes a run 2017 QB Tyler Lytle whom James Coley had lined up for Miami.

most of the QB prospects CMR has been linked to are from the southern states or North Florida. Not saying it's not possible they reach out to him but I highly doubt they do

Allison, Rosier, Kayaa, Sherrifs, ???

Is testaverde not a walk on?

Either way, we have two, maybe three kids that should get meaningful reps here without injury. If we can get two good ones we need to take them. We all hope Kayaa comes back for his senior year but if he doesn't that depth chart is wide open. Also, if Allison beats out Rosier on the depth chart his best interest probably points to graduating and transferring.
