Let that one sink in.

You have to really question that. The first 2 series were well balanced. After that it all went down hill.

Yep your absolutely right Larry. This fact needs to be noted, but we definitely relied on 17 way too much to move the ball.
We were getting close to 4yds a carry in the early goings, but turned our back to any semblance of a balanced attack.
FSU simply pinned their ears back and sat on all the short garbage we have been running the last 2 seasons. We let
them off the hook imo.

Made no sense at all. 17 has a busted ankle, still lacks touch on his passes but we go away from what should be our strength in the run game.

Hogwash! We won our 4 games with passing!!! It is the strength of our offense!!!!! We tried running the ball and got stuffed guysm!!!

I thought we did a pretty decent job running James up the middle in the first quarter. But then we get stuffed a couple of times and reverted back to the throw it three times and punt mentality.

Misleading stat...we had at least screen passes

The only thing misleading, is that Morris was 11/21 before the 6m mark of the THIRD QUARTER, then Miami proceeded to throw 22 passes in the last 20 minutes of the game.

WE DIDN'T RUN THE FOOTBALL ONCE IN THE FOURTH QUARTER...NOT.ONCE.

larry if that is true then Golden needs to have a conversation with fisch. Golden has power of authority to veto plays. Why not call for more run plays?

Last 25 plays of the game, starting back at the 6m mark of the 3rd Q, when Miami was still down by a score...

22 passes
3 runs

The three runs happened in the third quarter...1 by James, 2 by Duke.

Fourth Quarter...15 pass plays.

Fisch is too got dam pass happy. Calls play action on first down then runs on second down. Drives me ****** nuts!!!!

Hagens, Duke (injured or not), Clements, and James are all being wasted. Let the OL and the RBs be the workhorse of the offense.

Fisch has called pass plays something like 55% of all plays called.

How this doesn't have more people infuriated is beyond me, considering it was a 3 pt. game in the 4th.

If there was ever a game where we should've tried to bleed the clock and limit FSU's possessions, it was this one.

There's no upside to playing fast when you can't score.

I think fisch is in love with Morris' arm and is quick to abandon the rush. It's why last year fisch game planned around Harris' arm and this year fisch is unleashing everything he possibly can in terms of the pass game. Can't believe we didnt run the ball once in the 4th. SMGDH.
