Miami record against the ACC

What’s our record against these teams when we joined the ACC? Not prior when we were Independent and Big East and kicking everyone‘s ***. Take out our wins when Miami and some of these other teams weren’t in the ACC and our ACC record doesn’t look as good.

29 losses to GT and UNC is NASTY. lol
It’s unacceptable. UNC had a better team than us maybe 4-5 times we played them. GT maybe 1-2 times. The 2019 loss to GT was beyond embarrassing. That should have been one of our worst losses in our history, but we have had so many lately that it gets shuffled in with all the rest of the bad losses.

Oh I think about the 2008 game whenever GT is mentioned… they had about 500 yards rushing (not kidding)… our LBs playing **** near 10 yards off the ball against the triple option. Fun times, thanks Randy.

That was a rough one to watch. That 2008 GT squad was actually decent, but no way we should have got humiliated like that.

Final score was actually closer than the game indicated. Felt like it should have been 60-0.
They whipped us pretty good. Yeah, I’ll never forget Glenn Cook getting dragged all over the field all game.

Friend, maybe I should change my username to the “Bearer of Bad News”, but GT’s QB that yr was Josh Nesbitt. Josh completed 44% of his passes for 800 yrds 2 TDs & 5 ints. He did rush for 693 on the yr (4.0 ypc), but he was far from Michael Vick. I remember this game distinctly for 2 reasons:

1. We were ranked in the Top 25 of match up & I placed $$ on us as GT just got throttled by Top 25 UNC the week prior

2. GT threw the ball 7x all game, & some dude named Lucas Cox kept gashing us, & I yelled at Claims Jumpers “WHO IS THIS DUDE LUCAS??!!!!! STOP HIM!!!”

That game ****ed me off as a fan, & a sports bettor (& at the time, I wasn’t even supposed to be betting, so I thought God was teaching me a lesson. Lol)

To be honest, I had completely forgot how one dimensional that team was and how bad their qb play was. That makes that beat down even worse. Got abused by a team that cant complete a forward pass. Kind of like this year against a qb with a bum shoulder and a back up qb with limited snaps. Yet, they still had their way with us.
