Miami Northwestern wins 2017 6A State Championship!

That was a great game. Tutu was definitely the difference. NW opened everything up in the 2nd quarter with some nice underneath passing. Armwood was playing off the receivers. That's 2 of the better teams in the state.

South Florida teams are 3-0.

HS football in South Florida doesn’t seem right without The Bull kicking ***.

Been a huge Atwell fan for a couple years. He’s another one of those guys who was purportedly too small who will find a way to be a big problem for opponents at the next level.

Atwell should be in this class, period. Find a spot.

He may well be worthy of a spot, but who do you NOT offer to bring him in? We need to have spots open for DL, Campbell, Surtain, etc. So who do you leave out to take him?

Ezzard is a much better WR prospect than Tutu. Give me the big dude running routes and snatching the rock. That transfers to the next level much better than a undersized quick kid.

u sign tutu just in case a QB goes down but hes the type if he plays he will play forever and never sit down on the bench, people r sleeping on this kid and watch he will kill it at loserville.

Tutu is not a FBS qb my man. Great in HS means nothing.

He might be an option at slot WR and returner. Problem is we already have 2 freshman small, fast WR.

I wouldn't mind giving him a ship, but the way Richt is recruiting there are a lot of more impressive prospects looking at The U.

we should take one player like this from south florida every year. they should be running back punts and kickoffs along with playing the slot. Kids a better version of Roscoe Parrish. He's like Jeff Thomas!

For reference, Tutu was very good last night. However the best QB play of these state finals thus far is happening right now. The Oxbridge QB Gio Richardson #10 is putting on a show. Leading his team from behind.

always good when that team is dominating, especially all the talent they stacked in '08.

are we looking at any of the younger players on northwestern?
2019 LB Samuel Brooks is the best LB in Dade.

Idk if we're looking at any of these players but MNW has some good upcoming prospects like, 2019 Jacquez Stuart, DT Calijah Kancey, 2019 OT Mark Fox & 2 possible DB's in the future being 2019 Andre Washington & Freshman Winsom Frazier who's a big 6'0+ kid that can play CB/S

Bruh is that Winsome Frazier jit??? Winsome Sr. was a beast on the court. If he has the Ol' Boy's hops, ain't no 50-50 balls...

Winsome a hood legend....Was a beast when i was in high school.

I think we should always have 2 or 3 of these little South Florida studs on the roster. Specials, slot, fly sweeps, etc...find a way to get them the ball a few times in space per game.

Ezzard looks fine but he seems more likely to be Dayall Harris than someone who is going to help us beat the Clemsons of the world. But maybe I’m wrong, wouldn’t be the first time.

Love seeing the city schools win. Miami Northwestern bad to the bone and they track program is super tough especially the womans squad. Prolly best team in the nation.

Congrats to the Bulls and the alumni on this board. Good to see them get a state title again.

Go Canes!

Im always amazed at how many state championship level teams cannot execute basic special teams plays. Its funny, you rarely see that in California state championship games but it seems rather common in Florida HS championship games.

I can definitely see the Quinton Flowers comparison with that Atwell kid.

In agreement.
You can never have too many of these illusive soFla ballers and I don't think it should be an issue regarding
scholarship openings as annual attrition always happens.

Richt is lining up some amazing talents at WR. Main targets for the next two years are Jeremiah Payton, Ladson Jr, Britt, and Manuel. Those 4 along with the 4 we sign this year would be the best haul we've had since the 80's.
