Miami Herald - Navarro on Jobe, Surtain, Campbell and Asante

Jobe part of article:

"Josh Jobe, the former Miami Columbus High corner who’s attending school and playing football in Connecticut this year, also plans to sign in December. But it’s no longer clear whether he will pick Miami.

Jobe told Canesport that he will choose between UM and Alabama and won’t take an official visit to Miami but will visit Alabama the weekend before he signs.

He said he still considers himself a UM commitment. Asked whether it would be difficult to say no to UM, he said: “It’d be tough, but I have to make my decision.”

Writing on the wall at this point.

Number 1 rule in recruiting - if there's no official visit - there's no chance.

It would seem like it. Between the "business decision" and not taking a visit, which could been looked at as a Satan mandate. Wasn't it Smith last year that wanted to visit until Little Nicky Satan threw a fit, along with bags of cash and the visit was called off? Still hope he comes, but sign point a different direction.

It's hilarious when we recruit against Bama and posters talk about how we have the last visit being an advantage. It isn't. Saban then has the chance of getting you to not take the OV.

What an ******* this kid is, just verbal to bama already and cutt the BS

This could be a special class for us in terms of talent and filling needs. If Jobe goes it means he never wanted to be here as he has had a Bama offer all this time and has been "committed" to us for 2 plus years. We have plenty other dudes lining up to play at the U!!!

I hope the news and pics about Saben liking to ride, harass, and bang miniature horses comes out right as the ink dries.
