Miami commits and targets OV schedule

@ErickMarreroU whats subject to change on Jobe? His OV to Bama or commitment to us. Also any thoughts on the Jobe situation? Im assuming you know him since your both Columbus guys.
@PeterAriz reported that the coach Banda is going up tomorrow to visit Jobe and his HS coach to talk to him, my guess is to see if he changes his mind and visits Miami that weekend. Jobe is very quiet about his recruitment and he hates interviews so I'm surprised about the Bama interview he just did.

He just hates interviews with the hometown team. Was always going to Bama, any local kid that will string out decision as long as possible is, with rare exception, leaving his home town.

Exactly. Columbus kids need to take Bandy’s approach instead of Marrero’s BF Henderson and Jobe.

Gainer comes the 15th ErickMarreroU

That one was cancelled.

Where does it say it was cancelled? I haven’t found a thing on it being cancelled

It was canceled, dummy.

Lol I’m the dummy? You couldn’t even figure some of Clemson’s most important starters were 3 star prospects while having a bytch fit about Jobe’s replacement and how we take too many three stars while Clemson hasn’t had a top ten class since 2014 lol.

You know that at Clemson, 40 out of the 85 kids on their roster were 4* or 5* out of high school, right? At Miami, that number is 25 out of 85.

So yes, they have signed more highly rated players than we have.

I have read it but apparently you’re too ***king retarded to understand the 3* are making more of an impact on that team than the 4* guys. I’m trying to put it as simple as I can but apparently you are still not getting it. How bout you open that up and go look at where Ryan Carter, Kelly Bryant, Tanner Muse, their starting TE, and two of their starting O-linemen are ranked. Also take notice most of their starters other are either a low tier 4* like Travis Etienne and Bryant or one of the few 5* star guys they have.

Here’s your L, take it like a champ.

Miami has 73 scholarship athletes on its roster, not 85. And Clemson has 77 (not 85). Small points, I know, but if you're going to start quoting numbers and attempting to enlighten others, please make sure your reading comprehension is on point first.

Regardless, Zbrod95's point wasn't who has more 4* and 5* athletes, but that sometimes 3* recruits can become important contributors (even at p5 schools).

Lol what? 3* making more of an impact? Clemson's defensive line is the strength of that team. All 4/5*. The wide receivers outside of Renfrew are the same. Best offensive lineman? 5*. That right there is eight starters. Doesn't count Mullen or Etienne. I'm not a Clemson expert, but they're best players were stud recruits

Yeah but we have 85 available roster slots. So 25 out of the 85 slots are filled with All Americans, the rest are not. At Clemson, that number is 40, and at Alabama that number is 68 I believe.

I suppose having a 3 star is better than having noone at all... except that it blocks you from filling that slot with an All American in a future cycle.

What day is actually the early signing day?? Let's get our future Canes on campus and make them feel at home and hopefully we can get some of our Canes to talk to Jobe and get him back on board with Storm18'!!

Wrong.

QB: Kelly Bryant- consensus 3* (only ESPN had him as a 4*)
RB: Travis Etienne - low tier 4*(starts over a 5*)
WR: Deon Cain- 5*
WR: Hunter Renfrow- Walk on
WR: Tee Higgins- 5*
ATH: Ray Ray McCloud- 4*
TE: Milan Richard- 3*
LT: Mitch Hyatt- 5*
LG: Taylor Hearn- 3*
C: Justin Falcinelli- 3*
RG: Tyrone Crowder- 4*
RT: Tremayne Anchrum- 3*

DE: Clelin Ferrell- 4*
DT: Christian Wilkins- 5*
DT: Dexter Lawrence- 5*
DE: Austin Bryant- low tier 4*

OLB: Darren O’Daniel- 4*
MLB: Tre Lamar- 4*
OLB: Kendall Joseph- 3*
CB: Ryan Carter- 2* (yea, their best CB is a 2* prospect)
CB: Trayvon Mullen- 5*
CB: Terrell Edmund- low tier 3*
FS: Van Smith- low tier 4*
SS: K’von Wallace- low tier 3*

I’m confused...I thought they were filled with high end 4* and 5* prospects.

Just off your own list, without even fact checking it, you've got 14 out of 24 players listed as 4* or 5*. That's a lot. And then a lot of their depth is All American too.

But there's no guesswork... they've got 40, we've got 25. It is what it is.

I was right and you were wrong. 3 stars make more of any impact.
