I'll admit, haven't seen any of these dudes LIVE outside of Mario at a personal hitting coach... but where is the size and power?? not one HR hitter in that group... outside of a pitcher, Mario is biggest batter and he's about 6'2/6'3 with a muscular athletic build... A couple of those dudes are having a rough senior season... at least 3 batters and 1 pitcher... I'll also admit I've never dove into stats for HS baseball, but I would assume if you are D1 UM level player, you should be DOMINATING HS ball???!!! Am I wrong?

We don’t recruit actual baseball players. Been a problem for a long time

We’ve been the smallest team in the acc since our joining of the conference. Often times not only the smallest but also the sloppiest. Our roster has been littered with slobs for a decade plus

These are also only state of Florida. We have other bats in 2025 and 2026 who are a lot bigger. I didn't include them in the post because the stats are hard to find

Any top MLB talent?
Players who could / will get drafted

(Was told by scouts and one person in the staff that he is a projected 2nd-3rd round pick, doubt he makes it to campus)

But one thing you need to remember, We cannot rely on freshman in this day and age of baseball. Freshman are not ready for this level of play (Unless you are Cuvet level of talent) We will be hitting the portal to fill some of these holes. If these guys are on par or a bit below cuvet, they will play/start. Remember, when the (Freshman-Juniors) in college go play summer ball, the incoming freshman at 95% of schools are in classrooms getting adjusted to college life, when the fall comes around, they have 100-200 less AB's in the summer than the veterans, so they automatically come into the fall/spring with a disadvantage.

For sure, only the special players dominate from day 1

But those are the type of players Miami used to land as well

Need to get back to landing the Yonder Alonso, Ryan Braun, Pat Burrell types
