Key Notes:
  • Points Scored is highest ever in twenty five year span
  • Margin of Victory is tied with the 2002 and 2000 squads for second highest in twenty five year span
  • Average Points Allowed is tied with the 2009 and 2013 squads for fifth worst in twenty five year span
  • Margin of victory over Duke was the fifth largest since Miami joined the ACC, and was the most points every scored against that school since the Canes joined the ACC
  • Miami's 9-0 start is only the second time in twenty two seasons that they have been undefeated at this point

Looks like the 2000 & 2002 teams. Our offense is so much better, if our defense was an average of the past we would be #1 in country.

Keep in mind, that 2001 team had a lot of defensive points. I can only think of the Louisville game when we had a defensive score.

Great angle. I appreciate the effort.

Read something wild a while back about that. If 2001 Miami did not have an offensive score that whole year… we would’ve still gone 8-4
