### Now that UM has landed two top-30 recruits in the Class of 2016 (Dewan Huell and Bruce Brown), its next big target is 7-1 Miami High five-star center Zach Brown, rated the 18th best player in the 2017 class.

“Miami is a front-runner,” said Ticket of America CEO Michael Lipman, Brown’s legal guardian. “We’re excited about their coaching staff and the moves they’ve made [with the roster].” Lipman said Brown’s short list is UM, UCLA, Kentucky, Connecticut, Ohio State, North Carolina State and Georgia.

If Brown picks UM, the Hurricanes in 2017-18 would have a team with four players who were top 40 recruits in their respective class: Zach Brown, Huell, Bruce Brown, sophomore guard Ja’Quan Newton
(37th by rivals), plus No. 99 sophomore James Palmer and No. 114 Rodney Miller (Class of 2016).

If we have a good year (looks like we will) no reason we shouldn't be in the thick of it for this kid. If we somehow land this kid to go along with Huell at one point or another it will be filthy

Been known for a while he wanted to play with huell in college, expect him to sign when its all said and done

Long way to go but it's good we are in the discussion... hopefully world wide Wes doesn't show up at his house

Did it take a search team to find Coach L.

Urban Meyers to Blake James "I am interested in coaching at your school". Blake James "Please send us your resume". Replace Larranaga with Urban Meyer. That's how f'n lucky we are with this hire.

Savage this Coach L is. That man never made one **** excuse when he got here. He was all business. Players love and adore that man. Not far fetched to say he is one of the best in college sports when it comes to players and coaching/teaching the game . Both facets.

If you trace his basketball roots, and what he is for, you understand he is truly more than a great coach. JMO

It would be amazing, especially since we know KY, UNC, etc. will be "making promises" for a 7 footer+ of this caliber.

This is amazing. Instead of worrying about a down year we are reloading. Very excited about the future of this program

Is he a one and done guy?

If not it makes alot of sense to look at us given what Larranaga has done with our bigs. Gamble, Kadji, Rumbling Tub of Lard (before he checked out his last 12 games), and Jekiri have all developed really nicely.
