I really want these dudes to perform, they must commit to train like X if they do this and really commit themselves in every way we could possibly have an NFL D front.

To get there , the road less travelled is awaiting them it won’t be easygoing at all.

Hopefully they already started, huge ?

It’s there choice ALL there’s

Full healthy offseason, and playing DE only would be huge.

Last 3 games of season mostly playing DE, Mesidor went 11 tackles/3 TFL/2 sacks.

Him playing mostly inside first part of season wasnt a good role for him
Exactly! He is much better at DE and this past season made that clear. Mesidor's possible return would give us a very good veteran core on the DL in Bain, Blay and Moten with plenty of young talented kids entering their 2nd year. Josh Horton, Justin Scott and Artavious Jones provide great depth while developing into future starters at DT. At DE we have no shortage of prospects with massive potential in Malik Bryant, Booker Pickett Jr, Elias Rudolph, Marquis Lightfoot, Cole McConathy, Armando Blount plus true freshmen Hayden Lowe and Herbert Scroggins.

He is a decent player but having two starting 6'2 280lb DE is redundant. We need someone who can get to the QB on the outside.
Yeah, was just gonna post that Bain and Mesidor play the same position, SDE.
They set the edge in the run game and can on occasion get a QB pressure and sack.
The Quick end, would be expected to get all the pressures, hence Bryant, now Pickett, and whoever else shows up.
But having big bodies on the DL certainly helps. With Blay signing, I could see our run defense getting stronger especially with a slower pace offense that were going to see.

Over at c**sports saying that Lightfoot & Scott are contemplating on hitting the portal.
Mods are saying it or message board nobodies? These were def 2 I've been worried about being out of state and not playing much. Justin scott would be a big loss
