Mercury Morris RIP

Not only a great player, but a really great dude, too. To anyone who has never seen film of Mercury during his Dolphins days, I highly recommend you do. He was electrifying and a menace to opposing D’s.

My deepest condolences to his entire family. May he rest at eternal peace in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus.

RIP
As a kid I was mesmerized watching him run. What a talent. Such a great compliment to Csonka and Kiick.
I enjoyed the character he was and his sense of humor we all saw later in life. Appreciated the pride & love he had for his teammates and what they accomplished in the undefeated 72 season.
Thanks for the great memories and Godspeed Mercury.

RIP #22. Mercury and Kick would play pickup basketball at Suniland park in the off-season. I was good friends with Nick Buoniconti jr growing up and Dolphin players and their wives were often at his house hanging out by the pool. Great teams and players in the ‘70’s!

****. RIP #22. Absolute South Florida legend.

Ran like the devil possed.

As if Kiick and Csonka weren’t enough trouble, Merc would enter the chat bring in a whole new set of problems for the defense.
