Lol funny how the OOS kids are so different

"He says "I think I'll be a big part of turning that program around, definitely beginning as a freshman. There's a lot of work ahead of me. There's nothing guaranteed. I'm willing to work. That's what I'm all about. I like to get the job done, have fun. I want to be a leader on the team."

With signing day fast approaching he says "I'm excited, but (signing day) is a regular day. I'm not one of those guys that gets too, too excited. It's another day to get better, stay focused and bring me closer to where I want to be in life as far as going to college, getting a degree and hopefully one day playing at the next level. I'm just focused on getting to Miami, getting to work from the get-go. I'll do what I do best, which is get after the quarterback."

Dade County Public schools mane

Our kids are not the sharpest knives in the drawer

Once we get more profile in the rankings, get more high profile wins, and start winning bowl games again. These kids wont want to play games like this anymore. They will trust when they get an offer, you take it.

We need DL **** that

Keef and Bostwick should be the major priority here anyway

Ringz, I hear ya, but if these local kids don't wanna go all in and let the coaches know then get left behind. Duke last year and the OOS kids this year let the coaches know they want to be hear and are ready to put in the hard work. Seems like the local Miami kids just want the attention and to be catered to. Get in line or get left out. I am not saying some kids who haven't stated where they are going yet are selfish but they should **** sure let the coaches know where they stand.

i wish i could buy aqm a drink. don't know where you pulled those quotes from but they are awesome.

It's not their fault entirely

Street Agents run rampant down here and ignorant *** dudes always trying to make a dollar off these kids. They are young kids.

Street agents and other family members who arent raising these kids right. Look at Duke's mom and how mature he is. Thats a rarity in South FL these days unfortunately. Im sick of these high school coaches *****ing about UM not focusing on local talent, and their players are trying to hold UM by the short & curlies waiting until signing day

I am not saying these kids are at fault, but if they really want to play for the U then commit. You don't have to go public with it, just let the coaches know. If you are hesitant and they pull your offer well that is on you. These kids should, and that is totally on them, get a good offer to go play ball somewhere and get an education. If you play at Miami is up to you.

Not going out on a limb, but I think AQM has a chance to be a freshman AA. Kid gets it

What about kids like Burns and Carter that were Canes from the get go? It's a mixed bag.

This you have kids that dont play games and explore their options then commit and then you have the divas. Not just south florida but all around the country. And how can you blame them? From the male groupies that tweet them to the espn coverage and slobbering adults around them. Recruiting has become a monster and the kids are just a piece of that monstrosity
