I don't understand why so many of you are all emotional about this loss. Who cares?

We still win the Coastal just by beating Duke

We still get bowl eligible just by winning another game, any game

In all, it was a throwaway game anyway. Would have been great to win, but, yawn.

no game is a throw away game. no way should we give up 3rd and long after 3rd and long. it is nauseating

So blowing a 10pt lead in the fourth quarter to a team with three wins after getting that ball back on the ops 45 with four minutes left is meaningless to you?

Because it's not about backing into a bad conference's(in an even worse division) championship game. It's about the program getting to the point that we all want it to be, and losing to sh*t teams like UNC and UVA are steps back in that process. No matter how you try to justify it, today was a bad, bad loss to an awful football team. And as long as we keep trotting that sh*t that we call a defense on the field that we have the last 2 years, we will NEVER play at the level that we(and I hope Golden) expects this team to play at. Period.

Do you care about any out-of-conference games? If we're not in contention for the acc title, do you not watch the games? UVA has had our number recently; that's what made this so important.

What makes this so important is that many of us were beginning to fall under the impression that maybe, just maybe, our Canes had turned the corner for the first time in a decade. We've been sitting here watching losing season after losing season, patiently, supporting coach after coach, hoping that this one will be the guy to bring us back, or that one will be the guy to bring us back, and every time it looks like the team has progressed, we regress.

This loss means that we aren't anywhere close to turning the corner, it is affirmation for those who feel there are problems with Golden and/or his staff, and it portends another pathetic excuse for a Canes squad coming up in 2013.

Have patience. That's all I gotta say. It's not gonna happen overnight. It's not gonna be a linear, smooth process. There's gonna be ups and downs. All I'm saying is let's everyone quit being such a *****, and chill the **** out.

We're not really in the hunt for anything this year anyway, so it's a learning year. Just enjoy the games man.

If we have Bush, Johnson, and Perryman, we destroy that UVA team. Tell me you don't believe that.

Next year, at home, we destroy that UVA team.

Hey, we had our three best defensive starters out today. The middle of the field was wide open as a result. What are you gonna do? At least the backups got some experience now.

If you pin that much on this one game, you're a flat out ******.

Seriously, give up watching football, and take up bingo or something.

We were missing our three best defensive starters who collectively guard the middle of the field. Guess what happened today? Their backups were out of position, and the middle of the field was wide the **** open.

Kinda reminded me of the first couple weeks of the season when the current starters, who we were missing today, were learning the scheme.

Obviously this scheme takes a couple games for the new guys to learn. I don't know if that's good or bad or what it is, but so be it.

I don't like losing any more than you do, but look it's just one stupid game. No MNC on the line, no conference championship on the line, NADA.

Did you just say, enjoy the games? Are you a *********, or what? It´s not fun watching a pedestrian qb in Rocco looking like Peyton Manning and completing 18 straight passes. That´s too much for me to handle.

Yeah, enjoy the games. Football is entertainment.

I enjoyed watching Duke Johnson beast the **** out. Seriously, that kid is special. He's the best back I've ever seen at Miami, and I've seen all of them since Edge.

I liked what I saw from the defensive line. Our d line has been a problem all year, but now we're playing better.

I liked what I saw from Tracy Howard and Ladarius Gunter.

Our linebackers and safetys lost this game for us. Oh well. Look at the bright side, at least the backups have some experience now, and Telamaque will be gone after this year.

I will try to. Duke is great, the o looked good most of the time. But geez the D makes me suffer watching UM these days...they are pathetic.
