We have the horses......they're just not thoroughbreds yet.

They're only ponies. Our most senior guy is a true sophomore FYI.

And we have Briscoe, Hoilet, Odonnel, and some guy named Porter who are going to redshirt.

We need a tall guy like Odonnel to get ready and fast.


I think we will be ok. These boys are playing against grown *** men. Bring in Bryant and about 15 more DL and we will be fine.

We are 4-2 with babies on the DL guys

Relax we are doing well considering we are the youngest team in the nation

You just aren't going to do much with 5 freshman DL getting major snaps.

Sorry to disappoint the delusional but they are going against cats who are 3-4 years older and much stronger. What do you expect?

Defense is bad, and youth is a legit "excuse"
 
As they get bigger and stronger well be back. As Coach Golden said last year, get your lumps in now, cause well be back and giving bigger lumps in a few short years

I promised myself that this year I wasn't going to get mad or frustrated because with a team like this, there can't be any expectations. I let myself down last night on this one.
 
Even on our line we play 5 3rd year kids and a true freshman. We don't have a single 4th or 5th year kid. We have a very young team.
 
Moore is gonna be a good one.

Not much love when he committed but he shouldn't be needed as much as he is right now. Really like him.
 
We're like those mini ponies. I had to do a double take when McCord was out there. Looked like Morris. Same # same size. We basically have LBs & DEs playing in the front 4. There is no quick fix to that problem. Everyone says JUCOs but we're not the only team in the country with that plan. It's the hardest position to recruit.

No defense for our defense being this bad. If you can't see that Coach D is not helping our D at any level you are either blind, ignorant, or In denial.
 
This list of players, and thread, should be our hope for optimisim - we should know that the front 7 development is key moving forward - if we can find three or four players along the DL that are monsters - CK (strongest man on team?), Bull, Ivory, Grimble, OP on the inside - can JH handle the Strongisde like Chick? Luther and the other guy are not part of the core, but if they can be counted on, so be it - the hot seat D and DL counterpart better get production from these guys - next years hit or misses in recruiting and development will find its way on Coach Goldens Desk when Olsen hits the field with DUKE and the Wrs on the field last night and the same OL - but for now kick the **** outa NC - i hate those guys for no other reason that they have speed too
