Max Wittek

With Olsen, Kaaya, and maybe either Gibson/Wimbush on the roster, I wouldn't want to give up the scholarship while dealing with sanctions, but I'd look and if he blew us away then maybe.

2 of those guys wouldn't be on scholarship till 2015. How about we trade him for G. Crow?

Personally I wouldn't mind bringing this kid in because it separates the scholarships (junk Crow). Also, who knows if Williams will be able to be a quality starter in 2014? We also go into 2015 with an older mature QB available.

2014

Williams (RD-Sr)
Wittek (RD-Jr)
Olsen (Rd-Fr.)
Kaaya (Fr.)
Rosier (Fr.)

The QBs are spread out.

Wittek will have to sit out a year, so I was jumping ahead a year.

**** no

This dude is pure doo doo. Had some of the best talent in the country to throw to, and did absolutely nothing.

If we don't have a player at QB between Williams, Olsen, and Kaaya. Then this staff needs to shoot themselves.

Speaking of Williams. This dude had nothing while at Memphis as a frosh, and what he did then. ***** all over this cat.

Incorrect. He is graduating and will be able to play next year. Don't know of his interest level, but the more competition the better.

Is he? Then I stand corrected. I still want to hold onto the scholarship, but now I hope that he has interest and the staff gives him a hard look.

Question is would he come here? There is lots of quality competition here now. QB is now deep and Williams knows the playbook and has two years in the system. I doubt Wittek wants to compete with that. There is lots of other more definite situations to start.

Wittek is Morris 2.0. Big arm and not much else.

USC would have killed to have Morris... Their stable of wideouts and tightends were awesome... This kid was an unproductive back up with all that talent...

Wittek was much more highly rated than Morris. He was the #2 QB on 247 and #3 QB on Rivals and ESPN and had offers from every school in the country. If they couldn't develop him, they weren't gonna develop Morris.

Geezus......here we go with recruiting rankings again. The kid flopped. Blame the people who rank kids solely on physical activity, not the USC coaching staff. They did just fine with Cody Kessler.
