The common trend with many of these players is that they didn’t come from a massive metro city. With the exception of Vince Young being from Houston and Eric Berry from Atlanta. Not trying to take anything away from the guys on this list I agree with most of them with the exception of Pryor he has no business with these guys. But imagine if Frank Gore or Freddie Miles had played running back in rural Philadelphia, MS like Dupree. Just something to think about.

Also the best high school football player of all time is IMO Ronald Curry from Hampton, VA.
