For those who watched the UNC game last night, UNC QB Max Johnson sustained what looked like a horrible leg injury in the second half. He was taken from the field on a cart and brought to a local hospital.



“UNC announces that QB Max Johnson is out for the season,” ESPN’s Pete Thamel wrote on X. “Update on UNC QB Max Johnson. He ‘underwent successful surgery in Minneapolis to repair a broken right leg on Friday. Johnson, who is accompanied by his parents in Minnesota, will return to Chapel Hill in a few days and is expected to make a full recovery.'”
