Matt Golden (Al Golden Nephew)

Golden is a ferocious blocker from the tight end position. He comes off the ball fast and under control and drives his feet. Can seal the edge or down block with authority and has the athletic ability to get to defenders on the second level. A smart player, he has an excellent motor and stays with blocks. Although he did not have many chances to catch the ball, he has soft hands and runs very good routes. He split time as a defensive end this past season and showed that he can surely play on the defensive side as well. Has the frame to add good weight and is sure to become bigger and faster. Should catch the eye of college recruiters in the upcoming months. 2013 should be a big year for the nephew of Miami University head coach, Al Golden.

Red Bank Catholic is the HS Al Golden went to and where he started his coaching career.

NJ (you know NJ) also went to school there when Golden was coaching there.

Stubbs went to Red Bank Regional, not Red Bank catholic.
