Maryland hosted 13-14u teams

This past summer, u of Maryland hosted a 13u and 14u all star game between Maryland and Texas. After the games, all the players got tours of the facilities and intros to the coaching staff. I wonder if UM could do something like that. It resonated really well with the players.

Why not invite 8th and 9th graders to campus?

umm weve been doing that since Richt was here.

My 9th graders have been to Um maybe 3 times already.

I get that, for local kids, but this was outta state. I know some 7 on 7 takes place, just thought it was a cool idea, that’s all. The kids I know that went were very impressed by Maryland.

we've done for both. How you think a bunch of out of state guys got visited in the off season. Thats because adidas 7 on 7 tournament took place by um. We do a pretty good job getting kids on campus...
