With CMR now being in the most talent rich location in football we can expect for this trend to continue. We could even dare to say that it will get better.

Noone to compete against him in GA, except GT. So all the GA kids he had wrapped up.

here he has FSU, UF, and every other big time program like Bama, Michigan, OSU. Lets see how he does down here before i ever can say he is great recruiter.

No one to compete against in ga? What....? Everyone recruits the state, the state of Georgia the last 10 years put more players in to the sec conference by far than any other state........ That doesn't even include the kids that go to schools in the acc, big 10 and pac 12,

No one to compete with in Georgia??? Alabama, Auburn, FSU, Florida, Clemson, South Carolina, Tennessee recruit Georgia heavily.

You really have no clue....EVERY program goes into metro Atlanta to get kids....not to mention the geographical rivals they have that pluck kids out of there regularly. Tennessee won a title with 20+ Georgia kids on their roster. Alabama and Auburn and Clemson are littered with kids from the Metro Atlanta area.

Extremely talented area, had the most draft picks of any area in the draft this year too. This doesn't even include the other talented areas in ga like south ga either

Georgia has the advantage that a large # of high school football players grow up Georgia fans and dream bout running through dem hedges. Kids who go to a big game in Athens are blown away by the whole scene on a football weekend. Helps when you fighting for a croot against all the schools that come in to steal away players.

thats bs, bama. lsu, everyone including golden went into georgia to get kids. this is just plain bs. its not true. just like south florida kids want to go to miami georgia kids wanted to go to georgia that helped but actually recruting them helps.

every sec school and every florida school goes into georgia to get there kids. acting like they don't is a lie.

I hope for his sake that tpres is trolling. If not then he has proven to be the porster of the year so far.

Heavy recruiting goes into Georgia by Auburn, Alabama,Clemson, USCe, FSU, UF, and Tennessee

TF???? He had OSU FSU and Bama and Mich to compete against while at UGA too?! What kinda a B.S post is this?! You do realize that just b/c u change schools don't mean that other schools don't stop recruiting top talent regardless of location. Wish I could down vote more do to lack of common sense and stupidity.

Where do you people even come from?

On a percentage basis, Georgia has top recruits on lock more than any other state outside of USCw. And it's not even close to #3 . Much much harder to pull a top Georgia kid than any other state in the SE. This is a known perk of the UGA job. I mean, have y'all read a single job rankings article? They have consistent top classes and they are almost entirely comprised of GA kids. Y'all must have never took a class in logic or reason. The average IQ of posts on this board is a little bit above autism.

These porst that GA doesn't have to compete for recruits are laughable at best. I guess SFLA croots are the only ones who can be swayed to leave home

This - Any coach with a pulse will have success recruiting at Georgia. A lot of built in advantages in that job.

Being that CMR is now in the 1. the Mecca of recruiting, 2. will increase win totals 3. location (appeal of Miami metro areas) 4. Overall program improvements including recruiting evaluations and 5. More draft picks. It is logical to "forecast" highly improved recruiting classes. What he achieved at Georgia would have no bearing on what he's "capable" of here. The two have no common variables except a few coaches. Plus recruiting rankings are arbitrary values with no absolute determination of a class value.

Never finished in the top two in recruiting rankings, never finished on top in the final rankings? Coincedence?

No they don't, I KNOW a bunch of the top recruits in Georgia and a lot want to get out of there. Auburn, Tennessee Alabama and a bevy of other schools heavily recruits the areas. Lsu by far gets anyone they want in the state and its not even close. USC is next, ole miss and kids from south panola after that... Kids don't grow up loving Uga like that. The most college apparel I see in the state other than Uga is Miami..... I'm talking about people riding with license plates, hoodies , shirts and everything. It's a lot of Miami fans up here.A lot of kids love Miami in Georgia we just got to recruit the area harder. Kids are not locked in to ga. You forget auburn is only 1 hour and a half away from ga. In some areas auburn is closer to them than Athens. Clemson is only a few hours as well. Many top recruits come out of the area want to go to out of state for school
