Mario Cristobal met with reporters to discuss the bye week and the upcoming game against Wake Forest. A summary of everything discussed is below:

On Damari Brown’s recovery: It's helped him come out of his shell a little bit. He comes from a great family. But he's very reserved, in a good way. Very focused, takes care of his business. When you go through something like that, you have to be engaged in different ways.

I am very happy for the Senior class. It's nice to see them have this type of season. They helped build a strong foundation for the underclassmen and the others to follow. CONTRARY to some of the expert porsters on CIS. Brown is a difference maker. I hope he does get some playing time this week.

I think the guys come out with chips on their shoulders on Saturday. No loss is ever good but I think we are in a good spot. I will be in Charlotte and I know my Canes will be also.
